What’s your favorite Halloween song? Is it Michael Jackson’s pop song, Thriller? Or do you like something funky like the Ghostbusters theme? If you tune into WMWM 91.7 FM, you’ll find that we’ve gone full swing into Halloween. Last Monday, you might have heard some classic spooky tunes on Little Show of Horrors, but if you tuned in from 3 to 4 on Wednesday you would have heard a different type Halloween music.
Strawberry Jams traded it’s red fruits for pumpkins and dedicated a show on October 25th to a musician known for his movie-music fusion. Figure is a popular musician who exclusively and masterfully creates Halloween drumstep that is featured in multiple venues including Orlando studio’s annual Halloween Horror Nights.
Figure is largely known for his Monsters series, which features drumstep tracks mixed with horror movie samples including his song Redrum; based on movies such as The Shinning, Friday the 13th, Frankenstein, Child’s Play and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre .
